Our third RESPONSE publication ‘Nanoplastics Impact on Marine Biota: A Review’ by authors Joanna M. Gonçalves and Maria João Bebianno is now available to read online! In this paper, the authors present a review of the available data on the effects of different nanoplastic polymer types on various marine biota.

This work was conducted under the framework of the PhD grant (UI/BD/150758/2020) and the EMERGEMIX (PTDC/BIA-BMA/30922/2017) and RESPONSE (FCT JPIOCEANS/0005/2020) JPIOceans projects, funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P., by the European Regional Development Fund, through the Portugal 2020 and Portuguese national funds via FCT. We further thank FCT for the funds attributed to CIMA, University of Algarve UI/MAR/00350/2020
